Step into a dynamic educational setting working with the Adaptive Behavior Learning Environment (ABLE) program, designed to promote growth and communication for students with varied needs. Your role will focus on providing speech-language pathology services tailored to students in the ABLE program, helping them achieve their individual communication and behavioral goals.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure and certification as required for school-based practice
  • Prior experience working with adaptive or special education programs strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
  • Enthusiasm for creating and implementing individualized interventions
  • Experience with IEP development and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with language, speech, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy sessions according to IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support students’ overall progress
  • Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt communication supports and interventions for students in the ABLE setting
  • Provide training and strategies to staff and caregivers as needed
