Your role will focus on providing speech-language pathology services tailored to students in the ABLE program, helping them achieve their individual communication and behavioral goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and certification as required for school-based practice
- Prior experience working with adaptive or special education programs strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Enthusiasm for creating and implementing individualized interventions
- Experience with IEP development and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with language, speech, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy sessions according to IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support students’ overall progress
- Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt communication supports and interventions for students in the ABLE setting
- Provide training and strategies to staff and caregivers as needed
