What You'll Need:
- Active Illinois SLP license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois required
- Experience in school settings, with a focus on early childhood populations
- Familiarity with transdisciplinary play-based assessments (strongly preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work onsite across two locations
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to PreK students in four classrooms
- Participate actively in team-based evaluations, collaborating with multidisciplinary staff using the Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment model
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and parents to best serve each child's communication development
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
