Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in school settings or with low-incidence populations is a plus
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans for students in K-5th grade
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports for IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to support student goals
- Provide consultative and direct therapy services in both group and one-on-one settings
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
