Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Cherry Hill, NJ
Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working with a vibrant preschool caseload. This part-time opportunity offers meaningful work supporting the communication growth of children in a school-based setting located close to Cherry Hill, NJ. With a schedule of three days per week, from 8:30am to 3:00pm, you’ll play a critical role through the remainder of the current school year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold an active New Jersey SLP license and DOE certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Experience and passion for working with pediatric and school-age populations, especially preschoolers
- Prior work in school environments is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and the relevant systems
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for preschool students with diverse speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students’ IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to support students’ progress
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation using the district’s IEP management system
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide input for annual reviews, and monitor progress toward established goals
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that helps young learners achieve communication milestones
