Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) | Zion, Illinois

As part of your responsibilities, you will manage a caseload of 25-30 students, collaborating closely with teachers and families to foster each child's progress. Your schedule will follow the school day, Monday through Friday, from 8:25 am to 4:00 pm, totaling 35.5 hours weekly.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold (or be eligible for) a valid SLP – Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language pathology
- Understanding of IEP documentation and therapy plan development
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
- Enthusiasm for supporting elementary-aged children in a resource setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech/language therapy to K-5 students
- Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely records for each student in your caseload
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and parent conferences as needed
