Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) OR eligibility to begin Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Active and valid state licensure for SLP
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech-language therapy within schools
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility in working within a multi-disciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children
  • Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) tailored to student needs
  • Provide evidence-based therapy to help students reach their communicative goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support carryover of skills across environments
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress according to school and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development
