Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist CFY - Springfield, IL

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) OR eligibility to begin Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Active and valid state licensure for SLP
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech-language therapy within schools
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Adaptability and flexibility in working within a multi-disciplinary educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) tailored to student needs
- Provide evidence-based therapy to help students reach their communicative goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support carryover of skills across environments
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress according to school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development
