Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or SLPA certification required
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered
- Experience serving pediatric and school-age populations, especially early childhood (EC)
- Background in both educational and healthcare settings valued
- Comfortable providing supervision to an SLPA if needed
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to an Early Childhood caseload of approximately 32 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
- May provide supervision and mentorship to an onsite SLPA as needed
What to Expect:
- Contract role beginning mid-March through the end of the school year
- Schedule: 4 days per week, with a possible half-day on Wednesday; each workday is 6 1/2 hours
- Support from an experienced onsite SLPA
