Speech Language Pathologist Preschool - Stamford, CT
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based position in Stamford, Connecticut. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a preschool caseload (ages 3–4) in a supportive, single-site setting with a manageable workload.
Position Details
• Caseload: 13 preschool students (ages 3–4)
• Schedule:
o 3 days of direct therapy
o 2 days dedicated to initial evaluations
• Location: 1 school site (no travel required)
• Workspace: Dedicated therapy space provided
• Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy services to a preschool caseload, conducting initial evaluations and assessments, and developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). This role involves collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication development, as well as maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Connecticut SLP license or eligibility
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFY candidates may be considered)
• Experience with early childhood or preschool populations is a plus
