Blazer Jobs is seeking a motivated new graduate Speech-Language Pathologist to begin a Clinical Fellowship in Las Vegas, Nevada. Your first professional year is an opportunity to turn your graduate education into real-world clinical expertise, and you won’t have to navigate that transition alone. With dedicated CF supervision, mentorship, and ongoing professional support, you’ll gain valuable school-based experience while working toward completing your ASHA Clinical Fellowship requirements.
About the Position
As a Clinical Fellow, you will provide speech and language services to students while working under qualified supervision. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and related service professionals while developing the clinical confidence and independence needed to begin your career as a fully certified SLP.
Job Duties
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct screenings and assessments under appropriate supervision
- Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
- Implement evidence-based interventions addressing speech, language, articulation, fluency, and communication needs
- Track required CF hours and maintain appropriate fellowship documentation
- Participate in scheduled CF supervision, mentoring, and professional development
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completion of required academic coursework and supervised clinical practicum
- Eligibility to begin an ASHA Clinical Fellowship
- Eligibility for the appropriate Nevada SLP licensure pathway for supervised practice
- Ability to meet Nevada Board of Examiners for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology requirements
- Ability to obtain any required Nevada Department of Education credential for school-based practice
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
