Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in Cypress, Texas. We partner with school districts nationwide to connect exceptional education professionals with meaningful opportunities where they can make a lasting impact on students.
About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate SLP to provide evaluation, therapy, and consultation services to students while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Job Duties
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct speech and language therapy
- Complete assessments and progress documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Provide evidence-based interventions
- Monitor student progress and adjust services as needed
- Recommend classroom accommodations and communication strategies
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Appropriate Texas school-based credential or authorization, as applicable
- Current CCC-SLP preferred; eligible Clinical Fellows may be considered
- Completion of required supervised clinical experience
- Knowledge of IDEA and school-based service delivery
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
