Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Previous experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based speech and language intervention methods
- Effective communication with students, families, and educational teams
- Skilled in assessment, progress monitoring, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students’ communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Utilize creative techniques to engage students with varied needs
- Monitor student outcomes and adjust interventions as needed
