Desired Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and guardians
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs across K-12
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct, evidence-based therapy
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Offer consultation and training to staff and families regarding speech/language best practices
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all applicable laws and school regulations
- Support students’ academic and social growth, helping remove barriers to learning
