About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, therapy, and consultation services for students in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication development and academic success.
Job Duties
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services
- Complete assessments, progress reports, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
- Provide evidence-based intervention targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies
- Recommend accommodations and strategies to support classroom participation
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Appropriate Texas Education Agency credential or authorization for school-based practice, as applicable
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; eligible Clinical Fellows may be considered
- Completion of required supervised clinical experience
- Knowledge of IDEA and school-based service delivery
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
