Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Eligibility for, or current, Mississippi licensure
- In your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Passion for working with children and facilitating effective communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate well within educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students based on IEP goals and evaluations
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within the school setting
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff meetings as needed
- Maintain documentation of services, progress reports, and evaluations
- Collaborate and consult with educators, parents, and related service professionals
- Receive ongoing supervision and mentorship from an established speech-language pathologist to ensure successful completion of your CFY requirements
