Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Carthage, NC
Make an impact working with students during the 26-27 school year in a dynamic onsite contract role supporting K-12 or K-5 caseloads. This opportunity allows you to utilize your Speech-Language Pathology expertise in a vibrant school setting, just a direct drive down the expressway from Raleigh. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state SLP licensure (or eligible)
- School experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent consultations, and ongoing team collaboration
- Provide support and education to teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
