Two full-time contract opportunities are available for highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologists—one focusing on traditional elementary settings and the other supporting students with specialized needs. Your expertise will shine in roles that feature direct therapy, comprehensive evaluations, and involvement in IEP development. Desired Qualifications:

  • Current North Carolina SLP license (active and in good standing)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in elementary school settings or with low-incidence/specialized populations is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in conducting evaluations, creating IEPs, and delivering both individual and group therapy
  • Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language pathology therapy to student caseload
  • Conduct assessments and re-evaluations; document progress accurately
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt interventions and utilize AAC or other assistive technologies when needed
  • Serve as a resource for school staff and families regarding communication development and support
