Desired Qualifications:
- Current North Carolina SLP license (active and in good standing)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in elementary school settings or with low-incidence/specialized populations is highly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, creating IEPs, and delivering both individual and group therapy
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology therapy to student caseload
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations; document progress accurately
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt interventions and utilize AAC or other assistive technologies when needed
- Serve as a resource for school staff and families regarding communication development and support
