Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving school-aged children as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This position, situated in the lively Wilmington, NC area, calls for two dedicated SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellows to provide support and intervention in a school-based setting.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for pediatric populations. This assignment offers a structured, manageable caseload of 45-50 students and a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in North Carolina
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience with pediatrics and/or previous school setting preferred
  • Proficiency in both in-person and teletherapy service delivery
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, commitment to professional standards

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
  • Conduct therapy sessions using a range of modalities, including teletherapy as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress, session notes, and required reports
  • Communicate proactively with parents, teachers, and administrators
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and case conferences
