Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid SLP license (NC or eligible for licensure)
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy experience preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to varying student needs
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students
- Assess, diagnose, and write comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain and update records and progress notes in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Provide support and consultation to teachers, staff, and families on student communication needs
- Utilize both in-person and teletherapy modalities as needed
- Caseload typically ranges from 45-50 students
This school-year contract offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing opportunities to build strong connections with both students and colleagues.
