You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with educators and families, offering critical support to students across a caseload typically ranging from 45-50. Expect to work up to 37.5 hours per week, fostering communication skills crucial for academic and social success. Flexibility and a dedication to student growth are a must.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP-CCC or eligibility as a CFY
- State licensure (or ability to obtain) for working in North Carolina schools
- Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or teletherapy settings highly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize caseload efficiently
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students
- Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans according to IEPs
- Conduct timely assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student growth plans
- Maintain thorough compliance and documentation records
