What You’ll Bring:
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience in school settings preferred
- For the elementary caseload: Comfort working with K–5 populations, managing IEPs and direct therapy
- For the specialized K–12 role: Strong clinical skills in AAC and adaptive interventions for students with disabilities
- Commitment to conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing individualized goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to students, targeting speech, language, and communication skills
- Perform student evaluations and interpret results to inform program planning
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings, setting measurable goals and monitoring progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to maximize student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school and state requirements
