Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship completed
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with pediatric and school-based populations
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and services provided
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Provide direct therapy and consultation as needed
- Support students’ academic progress by integrating therapy goals within classroom activities
