Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings highly desired
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Provide direct therapy services to children with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and professional guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a key team member
  • Stay current with best practices and relevant continuing education
