Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills in language, articulation, and fluency disorders
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop tailored therapy plans to address speech and language deficits in students
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with school and state regulations
- Attend and contribute to meetings for IEPs and multidisciplinary teams
- Facilitate engaging therapy sessions in both individual and small group settings
