An opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist with experience in AAC for the 2026-2027 school year. Work onsite at two schools, supporting diverse student needs and bringing your voice to advocate for communication development.
You’ll have the flexibility to work full time or part time, blending your passion for speech therapy with a supportive and collaborative environment. Multiple types of caseloads are available to match your strengths and preferences, so you can deliver personalized care that truly impacts the school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold an active CA SLP License and CTC or be able to obtain
- ASHA CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Prior experience in school settings and familiarity with AAC devices/strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel between two partner schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and deliver direct therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Offer consultative services and in-service training as needed
- Support a diverse caseload with innovative, evidence-based practices
