A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the academic contract period from January through May in a K-12 school setting located in Cambridge, OH. This role involves providing therapeutic services to students across kindergarten through grade 12 and requires a dedicated professional with a passion for supporting student communication development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver therapy services targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and other communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in meetings related to student progress and educational planning
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs
