This role supports a 9th-grade student residing in a facility in Salt Lake City, UT, providing targeted speech therapy services. Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Utah (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric speech therapy settings
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload remotely if virtual
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Tech-savvy for virtual service delivery (if remote)
- Comfortable supporting high-school-aged students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent speech-language therapy to one 9th-grade student (six hours weekly)
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educational staff and facility team as appropriate
- Track progress, maintain compliant documentation, and communicate with stakeholders
- Adjust strategies to ensure sessions are engaging and meet student goals
