K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist

Soliant is working with a small, close-knit school community in Laporte, IN, and we're seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work with K-12 students for the 26-27 school year.
Details:
- Supervise an SLPA at an elementary school site; the SLPA provides direct therapy, while the SLP will be responsible for evaluations and IEP meetings
- Provide services to 18 Middle School students (The speech students at the middle school are being split between 3 SLPs in total)
- Manage a caseload of 43 High School students.
Requirements:
- Indiana SLP license OR
- SLP credential from the Indiana Department of Education
- 2+ years of school-based experience preferred
Pay and benefits:
- Hourly W2 pay of $55 to $65/hr, dependent on experience
- Health, vision and dental insurance

Description of Duties:
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Present evaluation results and propose IEP (Individual Education Plan) goals at IEP meetings
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
