Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working within a school or educational setting is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with students, staff, and families
- Solid organizational skills and commitment to maintaining thorough documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups, tailored to each student’s needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with the educational team regarding student progress
