Speech Language Pathologist in Eden Prairie, MN
Step into a rewarding school-based contract position dedicated to supporting students’ communication development. Multiple opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists for the upcoming academic year, with a start date in early September and continuing through mid-June.
You will provide comprehensive speech-language services within one school building, collaborating closely with educators and special education teams. Your caseload will include approximately 20-40 students, with a focus on setting 4 students, providing direct intervention and support while working alongside dedicated staff members. The role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about making a difference within structured educational environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Minnesota, or the ability to obtain before start date
- Prior experience within school settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills
- Ability to provide services across a variety of grade levels and student needs
- Proficient documentation and progress monitoring skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapeutic services for students with speech, language, communication, and social-pragmatic disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with district guidelines
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to facilitate student success
- Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation in a timely manner
- Serve as a resource and advocate for speech-language services within the assigned building
