Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist License (active and in good standing)
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a variety of student needs and educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to foster a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to address student needs
