Utilizing your expertise, you’ll support a small caseload—this past year included about seven elementary students with primarily articulation needs. Therapy is typically delivered one-on-one or in pairs, allowing for individualized attention and meaningful progress. Service patterns are well-structured yet offer flexibility: sessions are commonly scheduled on eight Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the first semester, followed by eight to ten select Wednesdays in the second semester. However, scheduling can be accommodated to best suit your availability.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status
- Licensed (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Texas
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings
- Strong understanding of articulation therapy and working with school-aged children
- Excellent organizational skills for planning, documentation, and managing a flexible caseload

- Review and interpret individualized student speech goals
- Develop and implement engaging, targeted therapy sessions
- Provide direct speech therapy at a local school
