Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA CCCs strongly preferred
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Comfortable managing varied caseloads for elementary-aged children
- Excellent skills in communication, organization, collaboration, and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in PreK through 6th grade based on IEPs and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, updating goals as needed
- Complete comprehensive assessments, progress monitoring, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input to multidisciplinary teams
- Offer screenings and interventions for articulation, language, social communication, voice, and fluency disorders
- Serve as a valued resource in educating school staff on best practices for student communication needs
