Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Buffalo, MN
Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a close-knit learning community as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with PreK through 6th-grade learners. This full-time contract role begins as soon as possible and runs through early November, offering you a rewarding opportunity to provide vital support to a very small school district.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Possession of (or eligibility for) state licensure for SLPs in a school setting
- Experience working with students from preschool through elementary grades
- Knowledge of school-based evaluation and therapy practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs strongly preferred
Key Duties:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations for PreK–6th grade students
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Track student progress and document therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Support a nurturing environment that encourages students’ growth and confidence
