Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP licensure in the state of Minnesota
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Enthusiasm for working with a diverse range of elementary school students
- Ability to independently manage therapy schedules across multiple grade levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in PreK-6th grade
- Screen, assess, and evaluate students to determine eligibility for speech and language services
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student progress and generalization of skills in the classroom
- Maintain complete and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
