Position Overview
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and flexible Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position in the Buckeye area. This position spans the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year (August 3 – May 21), offering a highly desirable 4-day school week (Monday through Thursday) totaling 32 hours weekly.
This role is perfect for a qualified clinician looking for a predictable daytime schedule with extended 3-day weekends, while choosing between a traditional therapy caseload or stepping into a leadership/supervision capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to evaluate student needs and determine service eligibility.
Develop, implement, and monitor compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to K-8 students.
Deliver high-quality direct therapy services through targeted student groupings, consults, and specialized self-contained settings.
Depending on interest/fit, provide full-time supervision and clinical oversight to an on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), or manage a traditional direct-service caseload.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Active Arizona (AZ) SLP Licensure and AZ Department of Education (DOE) Certification.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred (required if taking the supervision path).
Strong knowledge of cross-categorical student needs and multi-disciplinary IEP team collaboration.
