This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) who thrives in working one day per week (Fridays only), beginning July 20th for in-service, with students starting July 30th and the assignment running through May 21, 2027.
You’ll manage a small, focused caseload of just 10 students, all seen once per week for 30-minute sessions. There is potential for pairing or grouping students to foster collaboration and peer communication. Set hours typically run from 8:00am to 12:00pm, plus indirect time for meetings and documentation.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure for Arizona
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP writing, progress monitoring, and compliance
- Strengths in facilitating SLI-only meetings and participating actively in IEP meetings
- Competence in conducting speech and language evaluations for K-8 students
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to a manageable caseload
- Coordinate scheduling to maximize student benefit (group and individual)
- Write and update IEPs, set and track progress on goals
- Evaluate students for speech services and document results comprehensively
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during IEP and SLI meetings
