Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Arizona state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Skill in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating pediatric speech/language disorders
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech services to a small caseload (K-8, about 10 students), individually and in grouped settings as appropriate
- Conduct 30-minute therapy sessions, typically one per student each week
- Complete thorough evaluations and write clear, measurable IEP goals
- Facilitate SLI-only meetings and contribute actively to regular IEP meetings
- Track student progress, document sessions, and communicate effectively with team members
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
