Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Goodyear, AZ

This full-time, onsite contract runs from early August 2026 through late May 2027, providing the rewarding opportunity to work directly with a diverse caseload of 60-70 students. With a schedule of 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, you’ll have a healthy work-life balance while making a difference each day.
Your expertise will be valued supporting students through consults, group services, and individualized instruction. The role offers flexibility—either supervise a full-time SLPA for the district or fulfill a traditional SLP position working independently with your own caseload. You will collaborate closely with educational teams and families, contributing to the growth and development of children across both general and special education settings, including self-contained and cross-categorical groups.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Arizona SLP License
- Arizona Department of Education Certification
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience or interest in working in a school setting with diverse student needs preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services for K-8 students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress reports
- Supervise an SLPA, or serve as a traditional SLP, depending on arrangement
- Conduct consultations and group therapy as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
- Participate in meetings related to students’ progress and needs
