We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive services to a diverse caseload of 60-70 students. This full-time, contract-based position spans from early August through late May, following a convenient four-day school week (Monday through Thursday) with 32 hours per week. You’ll be serving a vibrant cross-categorical and self-contained student population, delivering both direct and consultative interventions in individual and group settings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active Arizona SLP license
- Possess a valid Arizona Department of Education certificate
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience supporting K-8 students, including self-contained and cross-categorical settings, is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in grades K-8 based on identified needs
- Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, special education personnel, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and consult with teachers to facilitate inclusive educational practices
- Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations
