Step into a dynamic educational setting dedicated to supporting students across K–12 as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Two contract opportunities are available, offering the chance to make a lasting impact within a collaborative, student-centered school community. The roles begin as soon as possible and will run through the end of the school year, with a strong possibility of an extended assignment or stability through May 2027.
Position details include one opening covering maternity leave (with a likelihood of extension or potential for longer-term placement) and another role committed through May 2027, unless permanently filled. Each SLP will manage a caseload of approximately 60+ students and work a full-time, 37.5-hour week supporting students’ speech and language development.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP-CCC or strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants encouraged to apply
- Experience working with pediatric and school-based populations, K–12 preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery valuable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with families, staff, and students
- Active Indiana SLP License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Knowledge of IEPs, progress monitoring, and data-driven practices
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect services in both traditional and virtual (teletherapy) settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Document student progress and maintain required records
- Participate in IEP meetings and team consultations
