Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcomed
- Background in pediatric speech and language assessment and intervention, preferably within a school setting
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments for students aged preschool through high school
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide direct therapy as outlined in IEP goals
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s learning and progress
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining clear records in compliance with local and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities as required
