School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Brighton, Colorado

With a dedicated caseload of approximately 50 students, you’ll split your expertise between both Prairie View High School and Thimmig Elementary. This is an excellent contract opportunity running from now through June 3rd, with a manageable Tuesday through Friday schedule (7:30am–4:30pm, 36 hours weekly) allowing for a consistent work-life balance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active Colorado SLP license required
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting highly valued
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and intervention/planning skills
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse K-12 caseload
- Solid communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative attitude for partnering with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services across Prairie View High School and Thimmig Elementary
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain timely and thorough records in accordance with district and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support each student’s progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and student support strategy sessions
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive therapy environment
