Speech Language Pathologist in Bremerton, WA

Step into a rewarding contract role serving elementary and early learning students as a Speech-Language Pathologist near the Bremerton, WA area. In this full-time, on-site position, you'll support students’ communication needs while collaborating with a passionate team of educators and specialists. Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Skilled in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders
- Comfortable providing both direct therapy and consultative/itinerant services
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including Child Find Evaluations
- Interpret evaluation results and participate in assessment/IEP meetings, which may be scheduled outside standard student hours
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language services to students, including in developmental preschool and itinerant programs
- Contribute to transition-to-kindergarten planning as needed
- Document therapy progress, maintain student records, and ensure compliance with state and federal educational standards
- Collaborate with families, educators, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Participate actively in staff meetings and professional development
