Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting near Puyallup, WA. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license for Washington State (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP role is highly desirable
- Proficiency evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough records
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Participate in IEP meetings and support development of classroom interventions
- Contribute to a nurturing environment that helps students achieve their communication goals
