School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Puyallup, Washington

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and provide ongoing therapy
- Work directly with students in one-on-one and group settings to support their speech, language, and communication needs
- Partner with teachers, special education staff, and families to help each student achieve their goals
- Maintain accurate, detailed records and progress notes, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings, providing expertise in speech-language pathology
