We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity serving both middle and elementary school caseloads. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide crucial support to students, developing their communication abilities and fostering academic and social confidence. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure in Washington State
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility
- Previous experience in school settings is highly valued
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of elementary and middle school students
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in alignment with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to support classroom integration
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and required reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment
