Staff hours are 8:45 am to 4:15 pm, aligning closely with student instructional time.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in Washington State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience with early childhood or school-based settings preferred
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to students in developmental preschool and elementary grades
- Provide itinerant services and complete Child Find evaluations
- Support the transition to kindergarten, as needed, based on caseload
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, reporting findings to teams and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and evaluation-result meetings before or after the student day
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
