Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, valid Washington State SLP license
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification, required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to the assigned caseload: up to 42 students at the elementary level and 45 at the secondary level
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
- Support school teams in creating accessibility and positive learning environments
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued part of a multidisciplinary team
