Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Port Orchard, WA

As a key member of the educational team, you’ll enjoy working with manageable caseloads—approximately 45 students at the secondary level and 42 at the elementary level. The position runs from August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027, offering stability throughout the academic year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Washington SLP license required
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate must be provided
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience, particularly with IEPs and student services coordination, ideal
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills
- Commitment to serving a diverse student population in-person
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy, evaluations, and consultations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to align services with educational goals
- Document progress and participate actively in student support meetings
- Support the social, emotional, and academic growth of students through evidence-based practices
