Step into a dynamic educational environment as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 academic year! This full-time opportunity supports students across elementary and secondary levels, with thoughtfully managed caseloads of 42 and 45 respectively. You’ll work on-site with a supportive team, empowering students to find their voices while collaborating with educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Washington State SLP License and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy to students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with special education teams
- Maintain detailed records in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Engage with students, families, and staff to support student growth, advocacy, and inclusion
- Provide consultative support and progress reporting for educators and related service professionals
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and culturally responsive learning environment
This is an onsite, school-based role for the entire academic year, scheduled from August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027. Multiple openings are available, ensuring you’ll be part of a vibrant group of professionals dedicated to making a real impact.
