Assignment Details:
- Full-time (35 hours/week), with potential for four-day workweeks at some schools
- Serve at Buffalo Creek Middle School and Prine Elementary, engaging with caseloads ranging from early childhood to middle school ages
- Buffalo Creek features low cognitive and behavior units, working directly with around 50 students plus additional consults
- Prine Elementary offers a wide scope—intensive PK, ASD, Integrated PK, and low cognitive classes, supporting approximately 95 students collectively
Qualifications:
- Florida SLP license (required)
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to diverse caseloads
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate services to students with varying needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educators and families
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
