This onsite role is based near Hayward, CA, working full-time in an engaging educational environment. Desired Qualifications:
- Holds an active California Speech Language Pathologist license
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Skillful in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for diverse student populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective teamwork with teachers and families
- Passion for supporting student communication, language, and academic potential
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans to address a range of speech and language challenges
- Deliver therapeutic services individually and in groups, adapting methods for student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress reports, and compliance records
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support educational goals and IEPs
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights to guide student support
- Educate staff and families about speech and language strategies
